One of the many advantages of using carpet tiles is the easy cleaning method it requires. Instead of replacing an entire carpet when a section gets stained or damage, carpet tiles enable the owner to just install individual tiles in place of those worn out. Aside from saving effort, it saves money as well. Simple hand washing is a primary option. It is done by removing the carpet tile from the floor and washing it with mild soap or detergent without bleach. Carpet cleaning can also be done either by steam cleaning or shampooing. Steam cleaning is the use of steam from a carpet steamer to extract dirt from the fibers and a vacuum to suck the dirt up. Shampooing, on the other hand, is the use of a carpet shampooer to shampoo and clean stains on a carpet tile. It renews the carpet and returns it to its original color. Both the carpet steamer and shampooer are available in a hardware store. Should there be stains that are too difficult to remove; replacing the affected tiles is always an option.
